Husband Revealed

There is so much I could say about the man I chose to spend the rest of my life with. If you have several hours, I could share it all!! LOL. Seriously, I could never have picked anybody else who was more right for me than this man. The youngest of six (his oldest sibling, his only brother, is 17 years his senior), he is adored by his sisters and his brother and he's someone they always turn to when they need help or advice. To me, he's a friend, a partner, and a hands-on dad from the get-go. He's the calm to my not-so-calm, he's always there for me, the kids, his very elderly mom and elderly aunts. He's always willing and mostly able. Yes, he snores like there is no tomorrow and can fall asleep mid conversation sometimes - like tonight when we were supposed to watch TV together and he was sound asleep BEFORE the program even started, but he's my guy and I love him dearly. I'm not always the easiest person to live with but he's stuck by me through those "worse" times. He encourages me in my hobbies and is genuinely interested in all that I do.

Dot,
It was so fun to see and hear about your other half! Great photos... I couldn't find many good ones of my guy, therefore he's on an Elephant! ha.

He sounds like an awesome guy!! So glad you did your homework this week:-) ha!

What fun photos and a great story to go along with them!

You know, my husband is the same way and after years of begging, he finally went to the sleep clinic and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. He wears a CPAP at night now and life is so much better for both of us!! Maybe he needs to do that? That sleep apnea is bad on one's heart, not to mention car accidents, I usually always drive on the longer drives just to avoid that altogether.

Nice to meet you,
Bella

Your husband reminds me of my dad.. my greatest hero. He sounds like such a great husband, Dot. I guess the only difference is that my dad "never" snores. Love the pictures--everyone looks so happy.

Those are terrific pics, Dot! He looks like fun-loving guy. And... whoa... does he look like his dad?! They definitely have the same smile!

Pam, I thought of that too when I was working on the pictures last night. I thought OMG - he grew up to look like his dad!!!

Boy, do I know that snoring thing well! I remember nights where I could swear there was a Pterodactyl screaming right next to me! That is, until he got his CPAP, or as I call it, the marriage-saver! " )
