Shop Talk, Photoshop That Is

I am trying so hard to find the time to learn Photoshop CS4. Evenings seem to be the only time I can get and then I'm too tired to concentrate, and trying to follow the various steps in photo editing become too garbled and confusing for my brain. However, I did manage to follow Amy's (Living Locurto) tutorial on the I Heart Faces blog on how to change color in photos. She has a great video tutorial on just this topic!

I hit one little glitch that I can't figure out but hopefully it isn't that noticeable to others.....

My daughter has this smile on her face today as she (and my boy) are on break for Easter until Tuesday - let's hear it for Easter break!!!

I really want to learn to do this, but my laziness keeps getting in the way. I'll have to hop over to Amy's blog!

Love this! You did great! I have PSE7 and won't be moving up any time soon, but I think I can change color like that on Elements..???? I feel like I have to work in that program very frequently or I will lose what I've learned. It can be very overwhelming...I can't imagine CS4!

Nice job on the color changes. I like the different hat colors you chose!

Happy Easter to you and your family! Enjoy the holiday break!

You did a FABULOUS job on that hat! Way to go! I am sure you will figure it all out very soon. You seem smart like that : ). Love your blog music today. Very pretty.

I am going to take a look at her blog and tutorials, and I think you work is very good! I love the bright hats!
I understand about the evening learning curve , my brain was mushy last night too but mine was from working with a music editing bit of software and making ringtones. Took me quite a while but I managed it!
Huzzah for us!

Great job on the hats!! She's so cute. I would have never noticed your problem if you hadn't pointed it out to me.

Flatten your layers to where you only have one, then select the spots in between the photo and fill with what ever color you want. Those would look good on a white background with a thick white border.

Those are such cute pictures! I envy you having CS4. That's an amazing program. What fun!
BTW, you asked about my header and sizing it to fit my blog. Go to your Page Elements, Edit your header, and upload your picture to be placed "behind title and description". I really like Angie's new butterfly header! Hope this helps!
