I lead off the pack of my friends who turn 50 this year. One of us has had a health scare within the last few weeks. Because of this we decided that we can't let big gaps of time fly by between get-togethers. We just never know....
I booked a reservation for 7 at the American Bar and Grill's Sunday Brunch. We got there at 11:15 and didn't leave until 3:30 - they had already broken down the brunch tables and were setting up for dinner. Lots of food and lots of laughter - I think that is just what the doctor ordered.
Several of us have known each other since kindergarten but we've all been friends since first grade.... friends forever......

Awww... that's awesome! Having friends and doing something special like that should be mandatory no matter what life throws at you!

There is nothing like a 4 hour lunch to make a girl happy,,,except good friends .
