I Heart Faces, Week 27

I am fortunate in that I happen to have two photos that fit both categories this week.

The first is for a sports action category. My son played soccer up until 2007 when he "retired" and decided to pursue ultimate frisbee instead. This is a photo that I took during that last season and while he is not the key player in the photo, it happens to be one of my favorite pictures from that season.

The other category is for pets or animals and I chose this photograph of my guy, Freckles, who is just a love of a beagle - very independent and not needy most of the time. He manages to strike the "regal beagle" pose many times and I happened to have my camera ready for one of those poses.

Be sure to go on over to I Heart Faces and see many, many great entries from both professional and amateur photographers.

What a great one! I think soccer will be a very common theme, it's so easy to get fabulous action in those games!

Thanks for visiting my blog. You asked about my Aby Cat. She's about 7 pounds. Her face is petite, but her body is pretty muscular. Usually abys are taller and thinner than her.

Oh Dot! I love your pictures this week. Fantastical! Your son is such a cutie. He looks determined as can be! And the dog. LOVE those kinds of dogs. Yellow lab, right?

Dot! I am just so glad you are having a fantastically wonderful summer! Have fun and don't even think about blogging! : ) Unless you are addicted like me! I knew your son was in the background! At first when I quickly glanced I thought he was in the front but upon closer inspection I spotted him : ) You know I know how he looks now after all this time!

Hi Dot,
Thank you for the comment. Your pup is adorable too! What seniors don't get away with these days eh? I know my little Oliver rules around here.

Hi Dottie ~ I like Fred too, he is a cool turtle, and I have fun taking pics of him. :) Flash would be just as happy if I didn't point the camera at her, and Kobe and Jazzy are so used to it, they don't mind. I love when I Heart Faces features pets so I can join in on the photo fun!

Both of these are great entries! The sports one is definitely action frozen in time. Look at that hair flying up! The one of your sweet little Freckles has awesome lighting and is so sharp!

This will sound crazy but I would give a dollar for that dog...

I used to make offers something like that when I was a kid. Sometimes another kid would take me up on it.

The only problem was the dog would go back home at night and I would be out $1.00.

Love this post.

Thank you very much for visiting my Brookville Daily Photo blog and for the comment you left me there.
