This photo was taken eleven years ago (way before I had a digital camera). This is my son and he had dug a hole and was sitting in it just staring at the ocean. I have this hanging on my family room wall and it is a moment in time I was able to capture forever.
Be sure to visit
I Heart Faces to see a ton of people's photos of their happy beach memories.

Oh my goodness, look at your son as a baby!! He was so stinkin' cute. I love this one Dot. :)
Dot,
This is such a nice shot, and I bet it brings back memories like it was yesterday. It's funny how young your son was, but this still totally looks like him.
So, how close do you live to Becky? We're planning on getting together along the way, probably on Thursday or Friday of next week. It would be so cool if you could join us for dinner or something. (Angie was half thinking about making the drive until she realized just how far away it was!) :)
I love this Dot : ) It is so sweet. I am glad you have it hanging!
I think I am about 40 minutes from Springfield. I would take the turnpike probably. I love close to Montgomery Mall. Do you live near there? I have gone to Springfield thru Philadelphia when we visit our friends in W. Philly. That takes longer of course.
Oh, I see Drew just told you about the visit : ). Wouldn't that be fabulous to meet up? I will ask Gary for better directions tonight. I am going to send you my address. Can you mapquest it and see how far it is? Then just delete this comment so my address isn't out there for the whole world to see. 'cause I know the WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD is reading your blog comments, right? : )
That is such a sweet photo. Wouldn't it be nice if some days you could turn the clock back to then?
This is adorable! He's so litte... awww!
That's a great photo. Thanks for sharing.
I LOVE this photo! Wonderful memories!
Film. Those were the days. We waited a week to see the pictures and finally they managed to get down to one hour service. That made it easier but it cost more too. I like your portrait and am glad you saved it. I wonder, sometimes, what will happen to the thousands of pictures we take with digital cameras. We can't put the hard disk in an album. I think album makers thought people would make prints of all their pictures but it hasn't happened like that. I know we did in the beginning but then that slowed until now our printers are seldom used and the ink dries up in their cartridges between uses. I guess we are living proof that there is such a thing as a paperless society.
