Who Gets A Cold In May!!!!

Yup, I have a head/chest cold and it's in the 80s outside. I got through the last two winters of snow, cold, sleet, ice, and hail with not a single cold (only one sinus infection) and here it is practically summer and I'm sneezing and coughing all over my keyboard - go figure.... Thank goodness nobody else uses my PC.

The kids were both involved with an Ultimate Frisbee tournament this weekend. I didn't make it to the tournament yesterday because of a certain 7 lb 7 oz ball of hair and teeth. Since she's not old enough to hold "it" for more than an hour or two, leaving her at home for what turned out to be a 14 hour day for my husband and kids was totally out of the question. So I spent Saturday, when I wasn't sneezing or coughing up a lung, being chewed upon by Ruby....

Doesn't she look sweet?

I don't recall purchasing an aardvark....

Things will be great once she learns she will have nobody to play with if she keeps biting us. Meanwhile, I am taking suggestions for suitable substitutions for our arms, hands, and feet.. Anyone, anyone??

What a cutie!!! I love when you share pics of Ruby! When Kobe was a puppy, I always had a nylabone handy so she could chew on it instead of me!

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Oh what a doll she is!
A handy tasty toy will help but it never seems to taste as good as your fingers do!
I used to get the small hard nyla bones and dab Vanilla extract on them for Both Tish and Sandy, they loved the scent and taste. Their breath was better too! So that is my 30 years of advice .
Oh and after you try that trick never wear Vanilla Fields body spray again!

Oh Dot, your little Ruby is a doll. I just love her face. My goodness, makes me want a Beagle! Hee!
I have been suffering from a gosh darn head cold, now cough, too! What is with that? I survived winter with maybe some sniffles, but geesh, this has been a doozy. Your'e right, having a cold in 80 degree temps is horrible. I couldn't breathe the other day. 600 mg of Ibuprofen seemed to relieve me some. Hope you are feeling better soon!

Yep, I had one earlier this month too!

That first picture just makes me want to snuzzle her little neck and smell her sweet puppy breath and rub that puffy little puppy belly!

ACKKKK You must stop posting pics of her or I will want another puppy!

Okay, don't stop posting pics. I can be strong--I swear!!
